A native of northern California, Mike had his formative years influenced by twelve years of Catholic education and many years of service as an altar server. He and his wife also provided for their children’s formative years with a foundation of a Catholic education.

In his 30+ years of state service Mike had the good fortune to work exclusively in the Information Technology fields. This included working with Hollerith punched cards, main frame programming, personal computers, networking and information security. He also served in managerial roles leading teams with dozens of team members.

He is active in his church community and continues to serve in several ministries in his parish. In his free time he still likes to keep abreast of information technology, ride bicycles and play golf.
