Margaret E. Bangalie is married and has two children. She has been a teacher for over 34 years in various schools in Sierra Leone. She is currently the head teacher at the Fire Stone Community Primary School, Mountain Cut, Freetown Sierra Leone.

She is active as a community volunteer working with Defense for Children International where she is the President of the Child Welfare Community (CWC and sexual gender based violence (SGBV) groups working in the interest of children and women in the Aberdeen, Sierra Leone community.

Margaret is one of the founding members of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Vice President of the Church Council, and chairperson of the Catholic school at the Church. She has served as Deputy Section Chief and Section Chief of the Aberdeen Police Barracks for over twenty years.

Adding to all this, Margaret is a proud Builder of the Order of St. John Paul II in the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Aberdeen, BUILDING THE CITY OF GOD!
