I am semi-retired from a wonderful career in the fire service. I have worked in many aspects of the field from a volunteer fire fighter to deputy fire marshal. I found fire investigation to be the most challenging and enjoyable. I am also active with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, the civilian volunteer branch of the service. I also enjoy sailing and amateur radio in my spare time. I continue to be active with our Good Shepherd Parish in Elk Grove. I have a daughter and three wonderful grandchildren.
